Robust measuring software, fast refresh rates, full screen live imaging and user-friendly, image capture round out the embedded features. Each camera includes a 0.5x reducing lens that is essential to improve the field of view (on eyepiece ports), closer to that seen with the naked eye. They feature remarkably accurate color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity. All OptixCam Summit Series provide the best image quality that we have seen at this price point.
The software suite features TWAIN, DirectX and Image Pro Plus / Insight software compatibilty. The OptixCam Summit 3.0 megapixel includes a Micron MT9T001 1/2 inch sensor with a genuine 11 frames/second refresh rate for live imaging at 2048 x 1536 pixels and up to 30frames/second at 640x480 pixels. With 3.0 megapixel resolution, it is well suited for most modern computer monitors (which rarely exceed 2 megapixel resolution) and offers the same excellent color resolution and performance of all OptixCam Summit Series microscope cameras.
